Dainik Bhaskar Online, the digital arm of DB Corp, has awarded its creative duties to Mandate Consulting after a multi-agency pitch. The account is pegged at Rs 30 lakh.

Kaustuv Chatterji, head, marcom and brands, Dainik Bhaskar Digital Division, says, "We got Mandate Consulting as our creative agency as this year is very important for Dainik Bhaskar Digital Group. With a number of launches lined up, we expect lots of new generation creative work from them."
Mandate will work on invigorating the creative course for a bouquet of news and content portal brands that currently enjoy more than 400 million monthly page views and 11 million unique visitors per month.
On winning the account, Rohit Manchanda, managing partner, Mandate Consulting, says, "The challenge and satisfaction is doubled when you work for a media brand, especially of the size of Dainik Bhaskar."
The Dainik Bhaskar digital division claims to have more than 11 million unique users across its news portals including www.dainikbhaskar.com (Hindi), www.divyabhaskar.com (Gujarati), www.divyamarathi.com (Marathi) and www.dailybhaskar.com (English).
In January, DB Corp launched its Patna edition and its entry marked its foray into the 14th state in India.
