Vodafone's Anuradha Aggarwal joins Mondelez International

Aggarwal will head Cadbury's biscuit portfolio; she will report to Manu Anand, managing director, Cadbury India and president, India and South Asia, Mondelez International.

Anuradha Aggarwal, senior vice-president, brand communication, insights and online at Vodafone India, is set to join Mondelez International. Confirming the news to afaqs!, Aggarwal says that she will join in the role of director, biscuit, Cadbury India. Aggarwal put in her papers at Vodafone a month ago and is serving her notice period. She will join Mondelez in January.

The position is newly built as Cadbury has split its chocolates and beverages portfolio with biscuits being part of it. Aggarwal will report to Manu Anand, Mondelez International's president, India and South Asia, and managing director, Cadbury India.

On leaving Vodafone, Aggarwal says, "I loved my time at Vodafone and did some fantastic work there. But I got a better opportunity and so decided to change."

Having an experience of 15 years, Aggarwal began her career with Hindustan Unilever as management trainee. She was with Unilever for 12 years before joining Vodafone in 2010. At Vodafone, Aggarwal headed some of the brand's memorable campaigns like The BlackBerry Boys, ZooZoo series, 'Made for you' campaign and Vodafone Delight. At HUL some of the categories she handled include hair care, skin care, herbal health and beauty (Ayush) and innovation (Surf Excel).
