Joshi moves to CA Media Digital from Dhingana, where he was working as vice-president, business development.
CA Media Digital (India) has got on board Ashish Joshi as vice-president, digital and business head of Fluence, the company's online influencer network around celebrities and brands.
Additionally, he will help incubate and grow various consumer facing businesses in new media.
Joshi moves to CA Media Digital from Dhingana, where he was working as vice-president, business development. He will report to Rishi Negi, EVP, investee operations.
Fluence helps celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor manage their digital lives, which includes their social media presence, digital endorsements, online/mobile monetisation and equity-linked investments in the digital space. It helps brands maximise their impact on audiences, by utilising the online influence of celebrities and providing specific demographic and psychographic analytics of the celebrity fan base, highlighting campaign effectiveness.

Joshi comes with more than a decade of experience in content acquisition and distribution on various digital platforms in B2B and B2C environments. He is also experienced in running independent business verticals. Before joining Dhingana, he had also worked with Universal Music India (India and SAARC) and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment.
He holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Applications from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research in India.
For the record, CA Media in India is helmed by Rajesh Kamat, chief executive officer, supported by Rishi Negi and Vivek Raicha, who heads the investment arm of the company.
