CARE India has awarded its digital media duties to Isobar India, under a one year contract. The development follows a pitch initiated by CARE India a couple of months ago.

Speaking about the win,
Shamsuddin Jasani
, managing director, Isobar India, says, "We will promote CARE India's brand to more people. As people spend a larger part of their time on social media and online platforms, it is becoming very necessary to tap them there and create awareness through this medium."

He adds that Isobar India's responsibility will be to keep people updated with the latest initiatives of CARE India.

Confirming the partnership, Alka Pathak, advisor, advocacy and external relations, CARE India, says, "New media is going to play a key role to build the CARE India brand, increase supporter base and deepen engagement. We will use a combination of earned, owned and paid media to increase brand relevance and stature."

CARE India has been working in the country for more than 60 years on causes such as gender equality, women's empowerment, poverty alleviation and social exclusion among women and girls from poor and marginalised communities. The leading national developmental organisation with an extensive global network aims to connect with 50 million people to help them meet their health, education and livelihood entitlements.

Isobar, a part of Aegis Media, is a global communications agency that provides digital solutions for brands. It was established in 2003 and has more than 3,000 digital professionals working in 50 offices across 34 countries.
