The agency won the account following a multi-agency pitch.
After bringing on board Quadrant Communications as its creative partner earlier this year, Pune-based IT security solutions company Quick Heal Technologies has awarded its digital mandate to CogMat.
The agency bagged the account following a multi-agency pitch, much like the time when the company appointed Quadrant Communications. Interestingly, this was the first time in 19 years of Quick Heal's operations that the company had initiated a pitch process for creative, digital and media mandates.
"afaqs! released an article in May regarding Quick Heal's initiation for pitches from creative, media buying and digital agencies. CogMat approached us after the article and underwent extensive evaluation for various platforms on the digital space that took place over a few months and got aboard to fulfil our digital media duties"
says Sanjay Katkar, chief technology officer and technical director, Quick Heal Technologies.
CogMat has already begun working on the brand's social media presence. Online reputation management across various forums and search engine optimisation for the Quick Heal website will follow. Video content will also be processed to promote the company online.
Quick Heal has allocated 10 per cent of its total marketing spends towards digital and will gradually increase it over time.
In earlier stories, afaqs! had reported the overall account size to be about Rs 12-15 crore.
