Real estate player Tata Housing Development Company has awarded Social Wavelength the mandate to handle its social media duties. The company evaluated other agencies' credentials as well.

Tata Housing, a developer of premium and luxury projects in the country, plans to leverage the digital medium to be more accessible to Indian consumers and hence, its foray into social media. The sole objective behind the focus on social media is to increase the share of voice to enhance consumer connect.

"Our customers are spread across the country and they continuously look for opportunities to experience our enhanced living spaces. Social media will help us connect with these prospective customers, understand the audience more closely and enable us to offer more relevant premium real estate property solutions," says Rajeeb Kumar Dash, head, marketing services, Tata Housing Development Company.

Tata Housing has planned a 360-degree communication perspective that involves building pages on social networks, mobile apps and other social utilities.

Dash reveals that Social Wavelength's approach and suggestions matched the company's objectives very closely and Tata Housing hopes to connect better with its customers with the agency's strength, expertise and experience.
