ZengaTV, a mobile television and web streaming solutions provider, has broadened its portfolio through a partnership with Turner Broadcasting System, in a bid to extend its content offering.
With this partnership, popular properties of CNN, Pogo and Cartoon Network will be available for free on mobile phones on ZengaTV's non-buffering mobile TV service. Now consumers, especially kids, will be able to watch shows anywhere, anytime. In addition, CNN will satisfy the needs of global news and current affair followers.
Shabir Momiin, chief executive officer, ZengaTV, says, "In line with our expansion strategy, we have partnered with Turner Broadcasting System. As a premier broadcaster of CNN, Pogo and Cartoon Network, Turner Broadcasting can take full advantage of Zenga mobile TV network to deliver high quality cartoon channels' content and international news on mobile devices."
The channels will provide content to almost all mobile phones, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Nokia and BlackBerry, and viewers will be able to enjoy a fresh and youthful approach with a focus on digital and international news programming.
"Mobile TV is an exciting way to leverage technology and create an additional touch point, bringing kids and families closer to the universally popular stories in one of the largest and fastest growing mobile markets in the world," adds Momiin.
