Possible Worldwide (PWW) India, a WPP digital agency, has strengthened its India operations through senior level appointments. It has appointed Kamal Krishna as managing director and Prashant Shivankutty as senior vice-president, effective June, 2012. The agency has also upgraded its creative and technology capability and resource development.

Earlier, Krishna was head, marketing at beStylish.com, while Shivankutty was associate vice-president at mobile value added services provider Comviva.

Krishna's mandate is to bolster PWW's regional operations and manage the overall business.

Shivankutty will manage and enhance Possible Worldwide India's technology and creative teams for domestic as well as international digital delivery.

Commenting on the appointments, Kenny Powar, president, APAC and EMEA, says, "We are excited to have Kamal and Prashant on board. We plan to leverage their experience and achievements fully to create local digital milestones and cases, as well as extend the scale of our global network and capabilities."

Krishna, who has more than 15 years of experience, has led WPP Digital's key business initiatives and

accounts across Asia and Africa. In 2011, Krishna was part of the launch team at beStylish.com and led marketing and tech initiatives through two funding series.

Before beStylish.com, Krishna was instrumental in establishing Squad Digital, WPP's digital agency. He also helped launch Publicis Groupe's Digitas India. He has worked on brands such as Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, Unilever, Skoda, Microsoft and Airtel, to name a few.

Commenting on his new role, Krishna says, "To quote Possible Worldwide's mission, our global staff creates award winning and innovative work across channels and platforms that people love, ¬while also delivering measurable business results for our clients. Having spent a year on building our local capability, we are now ready to offer this vision and a complete suite of interactive marketing services to brands across our region."

Shivankutty started his career with Infovision Group, spending eight years at the company, heading its software development lab and CRM practice. He moved to Sapient in early 2004. From there, he headed to Quasar in 2009. In his last assignment, Shivankutty led global delivery at Comviva, managing clients such as Airtel, Tigo, MTN, BanglaLink, Grameen Phone and Etisalat.

Shivankutty says, "World-class deliveries require a team that's exposed to global best practices, campaigns and results. I am excited about taking over such a team and even more excited about our plans for clients. Brands in India today expect global standards in digital delivery, and we aim to be the first agency to offer and deliver the same consistently."

It was formed through the combination of award winning WPP digital agencies Schematic, Bridge Worldwide (US), ZAAZ (US), BLUE(Singapore), Quasar (India), Grape (Russia) and Carnation Group (Europe).
