Vserv appoints Vikas Gulati as VP, business development for Southeast Asia

Gulati, who was earlier with the online travel network Sprice.com, will be based in Singapore.

In a bid to strengthen its Southeast Asia focus, mobile advertising network Vserv.mobi has appointed Vikas Gulati as vice-president, business development for Southeast Asia. Gulati will be based in Singapore.

Commenting on his new role, Gulati says, "Over the last two years, Vserv.mobi has grown to be an admirable company in the segment and I am excited to join it at this opportune time. Given the growth momentum it is witnessing, I look forward to being part of the success story. With our differentiating proposition in the marketplace, we are attractively poised to capitalise on this growing demand of the mobile medium amongst developers, publishers and advertisers in Southeast Asia."

Gulati, a media and marketing industry veteran with more than 14 years of experience, was earlier vice-president, marketing and business development, Asia at Sprice.com, an online travel network which is now a part of Travelport. Gulati has also held various leadership roles at ZenithOptimedia and Carat India, among other companies.

Dippak Khurana, co-founder and CEO, Vserv.mobi, says, "Expanding our operations in the burgeoning mobile market of Southeast Asia is a key phase of our growth strategy.
