Online job portal TimesJobs.com has revamped its mobile site. The new look aims to add value to the jobseekers' mobile job searching experience. It has been redesigned to incorporate user feedback and is the result of in-depth studies on how users want to navigate TimesJobs.com on their mobile phones.

Commenting on the launch of the new look for the mobile site, Amit Jain, vice-president, TimesJobs.com, says, "As mobile phones have become a ubiquitous and integral part of our lives, TimesJobs.com has completely revamped its mobile website, leveraging the portable functionality of this handy and omnipresent instrument."

As part of the revamp, the log in on the mobile site has been supported by auto login, making it easy to avoid the tedious credential entries every time. The revamped site also allows users to register a new profile, and edit and update existing profiles. Users can also receive job recommendations and save jobs for later views. They can also activate job alerts on mobiles.

TimesJobs.com has also introduced a special feature called the TimesJobs.com Unified Inbox, through which a registered user can get the latest TimesJobs.com news and announcements, and also get single-click access to matching job alerts. On the revamped mobile site, users can also view which recruiter viewed their profiles and get updates on responses to job applications. The mobile site can be accessed from any mobile device having net connection through GPRS, 3G or WiFi.

Jain adds, "The new TimesJobs.com mobile site has been re-designed to go beyond user expectations and continues to provide jobseekers the assurance of assistance in job search, selection and application to jobs anytime and anywhere, using their mobiles."

TimesJobs already has iPhone, Android and J2ME applications for its users, which can be downloaded from the respective app stores (iTunes, Google Play, GetJar.com).
