Madan Sanglikar joins digital media start up A2DC

Sanglikar, who quit Mindshare as principal partner, invention, joins the company as CEO.

Madan Sanglikar, who recently quit as the principal partner, invention, at Mindshare, has joined A2DC, a digital media start up, as the CEO. The company, which is still in stealth mode, will launch soon in India.

Confirming the news to afaqs!, Sanglikar says, "A2DC will be in the digital advertising space. We are working on our business plans, and are in the process of hiring the right talent."

Talking about his switchover from a media agency to a start-up, Sanglikar says, "The digital space is continuously changing and demands a certain skill-set needed for this transformation. We are working towards finding that skillset."

Sanglikar has over 16 years of media industry experience. His move to A2DC comes after a nine-year-stint at Mindshare. Sanglikar, who joined Mindshare in December 2002, was instrumental in setting up the digital media team, and headed the digital business at the agency from July 2007.

Prior to Mindshare, Sanglikar worked with Starcom Worldwide, Mediaturf, Sify, and The Times Group. He has a Master's degree in marketing from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
