Ignitee's immediate mandate includes working on Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing.
Ignitee Digital Solutions has bagged the digital duties for Lovely Professional University (LPU). Ignitee will start work with providing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) by launching a small Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaign. The agency will be responsible for both search and media plans during the April-August admission season. Apparently, there was no official pitch process involved.
The 600 acre semi-residential university has 24,000 full time students and offers more than 150 programmes at the doctorate, post-graduate, undergraduate and diploma levels in over 30 disciplines, which include engineering, management, hotel management, bio-technology, nano technology and computer application, amongst several others. It has a diverse student population hailing from 16 different countries.
Talking about the development, Aman Mittal, deputy director, Lovely Professional University, says in an official communiqué, "We wanted to further enhance brand LPU, as well as target students who take their career very seriously and research a lot online before making any decision. LPU has always been known for taking the best students and the association with Ignitee has been established to further ensure this heritage."

While declining to comment on the ad spends, he tells afaqs! that the SEM campaign is bound to break immediately while the SEO campaign will be launched in a couple of weeks. "The campaigns, in general, will be divided into two parts, namely domestic and international," he further informs.
