The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced that One 97 Communications (Paytm) has acquired the sponsorship rights for the BCCI International and Domestic matches.

Paytm tabled Rs 326.80 crore to own sponsorship rights of the 2019-23 home season. The winning bid of 3.80 crores per match was 58 per cent more than the previous per match value of Rs 2.4 Crores. This is the second time in a row, Noida headquartered eCommerce and mobile wallet company has acquired the BCCI home season sponsorship rights.
In 2015, it tabled Rs 203 crore, or Rs 2.42 crore per match to win the rights of four years which ended earlier this year. The rights included sponsor branding of series with the title sponsor logo, designation as the title sponsor of the series, visibility at the stadium, and broadcast sponsorship rights among others.
