As the Cannes Lions awards kick off, FCB Interface has won a Gold to start off with. The agency's work for the client Mumbai Police - titled 'The Punishing Signal', has brought home 1 Gold Lion, 2 Silver Lions and 2 Bronze Lions awards across different categories.

As a part of the Punishing Signal campaign, the first leg of activation was tested in Mumbai at important junctions that are most prone to heavy traffic such as CSMT, Marine Drive, Peddar Road, Hindmata and Bandra. And the film gives one glimpses of the confused honking Mumbaikars who honked, waited, honked and learnt it the hard way, that honking is not the way out.

The Punishing Signal saw the agency win a Gold Lion and a Silver Lion in the Health and Wellness Lions category. In the Outdoor Lions, category, the agency bagged a Silver Lion. ‘The Signal’ also picked up two Bronze Lions in this category for ‘Single Market campaign’ and ‘Social Behaviour’ sub-categories.

Geometry Encompass’ work for Unilever brand Lifebuoy titled ‘Hackwashing’ also won an award – a Bronze Lion in the Health and Wellness category. Lowe Lintas’ work for Lifebuoy also won an award in this category – the campaign ‘H for Handwashing’ brought home a Bronze Lion.
