When Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States of America announced a two-day trip to India starting from February 24, 2020, one expected a slew of deals to be signed and important announcements to be made.
Instead, we saw POTUS inaugurate the world's biggest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, visit Sabarmati Ashram and the Taj Mahal, and most importantly, mispronounce Indian names in his speech which not only tickled our funny bones but made for some impressive moment marketing.
Right from the announcement of his India trip to his time spent in India, brands kept a close eye on President Trump because he has historically made waves across the world from his policies and tweets to his speeches and random statements.
Here are some brands which leveraged the trip.
