In a multi-agency pitch concluded in the first week of June 2019, Sony India has appointed Innocean Worldwide India as its Creative Agency. The agencies had to demonstrate their capabilities in strategy, creative ideation and integrated thinking across a slew of product categories.
The new agency Innocean will be responsible for the entire consumer electronics portfolio of Sony which includes the prestigious brand BRAVIA televisions, Alpha series DSLRs and Headphones among others.
Commenting on their new agency search, Yoichiro Hotta, Head, Brand Activation, Sony India elaborated that “We set out to seek an agency that is willing to partner us and invest in understanding the rapidly changing consumer landscape and the ever dynamic consumer touch-points. Their inputs will be important in shaping our brand’s communication across product categories making it more impactful and engaging.”

The work on the brand commences immediately as the sales expect a major boost due to mega sporting events, regional festivals and the primary festival season.
