35 agencies strike gold at Foxglove Awards 2019

At Foxglove Awards 2019 - which is exclusively for agencies under 12 years - Max Publicity & Communication won the maximum number of Golds (6), followed by Brave New World (3) and ADK Fortune (2).

The fifth edition of afaqs’ Foxglove Awards 2019 was held at Verbena Brewpub & Skygarden at Mumbai on 6th June 2019. The awards show saw a total of 110 unique entities participating and was judged by 35 jurors and 24 grand jurors. Click here to see the full jury list. This year we had some newly added categories - Best Use of Transit Media, Best Use of Cinema Advertising, Best Non–Traditional Outdoor Media, Best Digital Brand Video (Campaign), Best Use of Facebook, Best Use of Snapchat, Best Use of Instagram and Best Use of Twitter. All in all, there were 83 awards handed out in the National category and 63 in the Regional category. As far as Golds go, there were 27 handed out in the national category and 29 in the Regional category.

Here’s a closer look at the Gold winners in the national category -

Inextis Events won a Gold for their work with Axis bank on the flashback film festival in the category ‘Best Brand Activation.’

Brandmovers India work on Biba - change the question won a Gold for ‘Best User Generated Content.’

ADK-Fortune Communications won an award for their work on Ghadi detergent. Their entry titled #SaareMaelDhoDaalo won Gold for ‘Best Brand Integration’. The entry also won Gold in the ‘Best Digital Brand Video(Single)’ and ‘Best Brand Integration’ categories.

The category ‘Best Branded Content Campaign’ had two winners this year – Max Publicity and Communications and Infectious for OSRAM – Save the ocean and Baat Ghar Ki respectively. Max Publicity Communication’s work on OSRAM – Save the ocean also won them a Gold in the ‘Best Non-Traditional Outdoor Media’ category and a Gold in the ‘Best Traditional Outdoor’ category.

WATConsult won a Gold for their work on SBI Life #MainSeHum Real Life Real Stories – Navratri for ‘Best Content Marketing Launch’.

The Gold in the ‘Best Corporate/Brand Identity’ category went to VATITUDE for BIOZE - Keep Up The Spirit.

ADK-Fortune Communications won Gold for their work on #ShutThePhoneUp in the ‘Best Digital Brand Video Campaign’ category. The same entry also won Silver for ‘Best Brand Integration’ category.

Happy mcgarrybowen’s digital video for Ola titled #MyIndependenceDay won Gold in the category ‘Best Digital Brand Video(Single).’

The Fully Festive GIF Pack was made for Reliance Trends by the agency Brave New World and it won Gold in the ‘Best Use Of Instagram’ category. It also won Gold in the category ‘Best Innovation In Digital’. Brave New World also won Gold for their work on the She sessions in the ‘Best Use Of Facebook’ category.

In the ‘Best Microsite’ category, 26FIVE India Lab won a Gold for their work on Accenture’s International Women’s day campaign 2018. Another entrant who won Gold in this category was the Brand Experience launch microsite for Flipkart Supermart Select by Oddinary Marketing India. The same site also won Gold in the regional category in ‘The Best Microsite’ sub-category.

The Gold in the ‘Best Native Advertising/Sponsored Content’ was won by LIQVD ASIA for their project ‘Vibes don’t lie.’ LIQVD ASIA also bagged Gold for their work on Khabrein Khud Bolegi in the ‘Best Online Integrated Campaign’ category.

Purple Phase Communications won Gold in the ‘Best Packaging Category’ for their work on Whiskers Packaging - Make a Bold Statement.

The agency Infectious won Gold for Chak Chak Chabao in the ‘Best TVC’ category. Jabong Spring-Summer Runway by Happy mcgarrybowen also won Gold in the same category.


Social Kinnect won Gold for their entry 500 Festive Stories in the ‘Best Use Of Influencer Marketing’ category.

Eros Now won Gold for ‘Best Use Of Social Media For Content Distribution’ with their entry TUMBBAD. The Small Big Idea also won Gold for their work on the film Badhaai Ho in the category ‘Best Use of Twitter’.

Roadrunner productions won Gold for Ek Nayi Muskaan in the category ‘Best Use Of Video For CSR.’

And now, a closer look at the Gold winners in the regional category –

Zero Gravity Communications won Gold in the Best Books/Diaries/Calendars for their Shoonyakar book series.

The magic Christmas tree by Times Internet won Gold in the ‘Best Brand Activation’ category. Kumbh Kay Shravan by The Brand Brewery for Tata Salt also won Gold in this category.

Honda’s light up dreams campaign won Gold in the Best Branded Content Campaign category. Max publicity and Communications had also worked on this campaign – it also won them Gold in the ‘Best Content Marketing Launch’ Category.

People Design & Communication won Gold for SoME - Brand Identity in the ‘Best Corporate/Brand Identity’ Category.

Stark Communication won Gold for #KeralaTales in the ‘Best Digital Brand Video (Campaign)’ category. #KeralaTales also won a Gold in the ‘Best Digital Brand Video (Single)’ category.

Go Home This Diwali by Fying Cursor Interactive won Gold in the ‘Best Digital Brand Video (Single)’ category.

Johnnie Walker - Mission to Mars teamed up with Max Publicity and Communications to bag Gold for ‘The Best Non-Traditional Outdoor Media.’

Social Kinnect won Gold in the ‘Best Online Integrated Campaign’ for their work on Sparks.

People Design & Communication won Gold in the ‘Best Packaging’ for their Filter Coffee Every Body Can.

Popkon Creatives won Gold in the ‘Best Poster’ category for Aksharamuttam 2018.

The Yellow Compass’ work for Mumbai Mirror titled Operation Khataara won Gold in the ‘Best Social Media Campaign category’. Operation Khataara also won Gold for Best Use Of Facebook category and the Best Use Of Instagram category.

Matchtime MUNCHIES by Digitally Inspired media also won a Gold in the ‘Best Use Of Facebook’ category.

In the ‘Best Use Of Cinema Advertising’ category, Apno ka naya social network by Shreyansh Innovations won Gold.

#ARM Worldwide’s entry Thank You Doctor won them a Gold in the ‘Best Use Of Social Media For Content Distribution’ category.

Bauua on Twitter by White Rivers Media won Gold in the ‘Best use of Twitter’ category.

White Rivers Media won Gold in the ‘Best Use Of Social Media’ category for CSR for their work with Viviana Mall to stop acid sales.

Social Kinnect won Gold in ‘The Best Use Of Video For CSR’ for their entry Recycle more waste less.

Popkon Creatives won Gold for ‘Print Ad/Single’ category for their work on Pling Cassava Ad With Kim & Trump.
