The last time we spotted him was almost a year ago.

What's common between homegrown Amul's little moppet, KFC's southern gentleman, Colonel Sanders and Vodafone's ZooZoos? Nothing much other than traditionally, these cartoonish brand mascots have made their presence felt in brand campaigns every now and then.
You might also remember the skinny, wriggly-haired, funny-named animated character from PepsiCo's 7UP ads - Fido Dido. He made a blink-and-miss appearance in the brand's "Back to Cool" campaign last summer and then, much like it was back in the day, he vanished once again.
7UP brings back the King of Chill Fido Dido with its 'Put the Chill' campaign
Well, it seems like Fido's making comeback, but will he stick around this time? Only time will tell.
The recent TVC captures Fido Dido in his too-cool-for-school avatar and, of course, we can't miss his effortless 'Put the Chill' (also the name of the campaign) vibe coupled with his trademark sense of calm. Through his witty and quirky one-liners aka 'Fidosophies', the witty mascot reiterates the brand's mantra - not stressing about stressful situations.
PS: Fido is the brainchild of American artists Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose, designed in 1985. He was licensed to 7UP as a brand mascot in 1987-88.
