The agency’s 'No Conditions Apply - Sindoor Khela' campaign for The Times of India has pulled in the award.
In the 2018 edition of the D&AD awards, India went on to win a total of nine Pencils - one Yellow, five Graphite and three Wood.
The Yellow Pencil was won by FCB India for The Times of India’s ‘No Conditions Apply – Sindoor Khela’ campaign under Community Experience category.
McCann Worldgroup India went on to win maximum Pencils for India with two Wood and three Graphite. The agency’s two Wood and Graphite came for its ‘Immunity Charm Campaign’. The Wood Pencils came under (Direct Product & Service) and (In-Market Campaign) categories. The Graphite Pencils came under (Design/Not for Profit) and (Use of Direct) categories. The agency won a Graphite pencil for Paytm’s ‘Sweet Change’ campaign under Use of Retail category.
Ogilvy & Mather India won a Graphite Pencil for M P Tourism – Toys under Use of Music for Film Advertising category. Cheil Worldwide India won a Graphite Pencil for Sense International India’s ‘The Good Vibes Project’ under Digital Design – Beta category.
Hindustan Petroleum won a Wood Pencil for its ‘Roads That Honk’ campaign under Innovative Product Design Category.
Over the years, India has won 145 Pencils which include three Yellow, 19 Graphite and 123 Wood.
