Hyphen, a Mumbai based ad and design agency has won the creative and brand design mandate for Regal Shoes.

Commenting on the account win, Prasanna Sankhe, co-founder and partner, Hyphen, says in a press release, "When Imran and Nazim Virji approached us with the proposition of partnering with them, as they stood on the threshold of their ambitious brand journey, we were quite excited. Both of them exemplify the spirit of an entrepreneurial India and with both of them driving the growth of the company we were sure that we will get to create exciting and innovative work for a brand that has been well known for a while but is now poised to break new grounds. The mandate that they have given us, reflects this entrepreneurial spirit."

He adds, "They have asked us to contribute on everything starting from a fresh identity (that will be revealed soon), their retail presence and concept stores, the advertising for the mother brand and all their sub brands communications and all new customer engagement initiatives either offline or online. To us that represents an opportunity to think of the brand holistically and integrate all media's working towards a unified brand."

Imran Virji, managing director, Regal Shoes, says in a press release, "We are at the cusp of a great journey for Regal shoes, A brand which has been around and trusted since 1955. But as India's social fabric is changing so must the brand direction of Regal which will now become a destination brand rather than an aggregator of shoes. And we believe that Hyphen with its brand centric approach can help us push in the right direction."

Nazim Virji, director, Regal Shoes, says in a press release, "In Hyphen we found a complete Brand solution company which will not only support our brand with their design excellence but partner with us on all other engagement frontiers including advertising, retail stores and customer engagement. We are looking at various new initiatives which we will be rolling out over the period of the coming year. And in our first interaction with Prasanna we were convinced that he has grasped the Brands growth vision and is willing to partner us on every step in this journey."
