Infectious, a Mumbai-based creative agency, recently launched Infectious Design, its in-house design cell. The full-service design cell will be a sister company of the agency and will be headed by executive creative director Khalid Khatri.

Infectious Design has already done several identity projects, including the identity of Aegon Life (when it changed from AegonReligare), Happ Post (a news app which has a positive take on news), and the recently launched English daily DNA, for which it created a new identity and masthead.

Shreyasi Goenka, content advisor, DNA, says in a press release, "We wanted a modern masthead that communicated the disruptive content philosophy of DNA and reflected a high degree of brand congruence with WION, the English news channel from our television network. The new masthead has been highly appreciated by all."

On the launch of Infectious Design, Ramanuj Shastry, founder and partner, Infectious and Firki Productions, says in a press release, "While Infectious will help brands find a defining voice and an engaging personality, Infectious Design will help brands find a unique look and identity. (Khalid) Khatri is a brilliant designer and I am sure he will take Infectious Design to new heights."

Nisha Singhania, founder and partner, Infectious and Firki Productions, says in a press release, "Identity is a critical part of brand creation and communication. It was a natural extension for Infectious. With Khatri at the helm, we are sure of some spectacular work in our folio."
