Krishnan was president for South region at Lowe Lintas until June this year.
Famous Innovations, an advertising agency, recently announced the appointment of G V Krishnan as chief executive officer for South region. Krishnan will operate from the agency's Bengaluru office, heading operations in the South, while planning the growth strategy for other markets in India and overseas.

Commenting on his appointment, Krishnan says in a press release, "(Raj) Kamble's childlike enthusiasm and genuine love for creativity and innovation is what made me fall in love with Famous. I believe in a free-spirited entrepreneurial way of working and see a great opportunity in building an enterprise which is future-facing and create ideas that build businesses."
He adds, "The agency has grown tremendously in stature over the last three years, with work on large brands such as Raymond, Titan, Nestle, Snapdeal, and Myntra. I look forward to build a rich and diverse portfolio with brave innovative clients.
Krishnan, who joins with an experience of more than 25 years, holds a Master's degree in Management with a stint in strategic marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Krishnan, who spent eight years at Lowe Lintas heading the operations in the South, was earlier on the client's side managing brand and business mandates for brands such as Airtel, FoodWorld, and BPL Mobile.
