Commenting on the new appointment, Nima Namchu, chief creative officer, Havas India, says in a press release, "I bumped into (Vivek) Dhyani during my stint with Capital Advertising, and later, at McCann. He is the kind of writer who always leans towards writing copy with a bite. When he was asked to write a poster on fuel economy for Maruti Suzuki, he came up with 'Baaki sab gaye tel lene'."
At Havas Gurgaon, Dhyani, who will handle some of the agency's main brands, will partner with senior creative director Anuranjan Dogra.
Navin Theeng, executive creative director, Havas Gurgaon, says in a press release, "Dhyani is a potent addition to the creative team that we have at Havas. A much-loved and respected creative in the Delhi advertising circle, I'm sure his humour and unique way of looking at things will give our work a new dimension."
