Kinetic India, an out-of-home advertising agency, recently announced some changes in the senior management of the company. Raju Markandeya has been elevated as chief operating officer (COO), Kinetic India, from his current role of head, trading and buying, which will now be handled by Rachana Lokhande, who is a recent appointment.
Markandeya, who has been with the agency for the last seven years and has handled its finance and trading functions, brings with him a rare combination of a deep understanding of finance and processes, as well as a keen knowledge of the nitty-gritty of the OOH business. In this new role, all department heads will report to Markandeya.
Speaking on his new appointment, Markandeya says in a press release, "I am excited about the new role. During my tenure, I got full support of the team at Kinetic India, which is like a big family, and I have enjoyed working with the company for so many years. Kinetic believes in transparency in the managing of its business and add value to client spends."
He further adds, "Our aim is to set higher standards for the industry under the dynamic leadership of (Suresh) Balakrishna. I take this opportunity to thank all our media partners who extended full support to Kinetic."
In yet another move at Kinetic India, Adil Khan has taken over as head, North region. Khan has been with the agency for nine years and showcases a wealth of knowledge and great client relationships in the Delhi market. In his new role, Khan will oversee all the North markets, with the exception of the Uttar Pradesh market.
"So far, the journey with Kinetic has been commendable, and with this new role, I look forward to strengthen the team and region even more under the leadership and guidance of Balakrishna," says Khan.
