While Nanda will chair the Design Jury, Nair and Iyengar will chair the Print Craft Jury and the Direct Jury respectively.
The Goafest Creative Abbys has announced the final set of Jury for the Creative Abby Awards with the Awards Governing Council of Goafest 2016 having declared the Jury Chairs for the Design, Print Craft, and Direct verticals.
Alok Nanda, founder and chief executive officer, Alok Nanda & Company, will chair the Design Jury of Creative Abby, while Raj Nair, chief creative officer, Madison BMB, will chair the Print Craft Jury. Ramesh Iyengar, CMD, Select Direct Marketing Communications, will chair the jury for the Direct category at the Creative Abbys.
Alok Nanda & Company is touted as India's only brand and communications consultancy focussed on the lifestyle and luxury sector. Nanda started his career with Trikaya Advertising and went on to become national creative director and then member of the Grey Asia-Pacific Creative Board. He later left Trikaya to set up Alok Nanda & Company and has since then helped build brands like the Taj Hotels, Arrow, Wrangler, Sula wines, Lodha, Barista, Ambuja, and Marico.
Nair has been associated with advertising for over two decades and has led some pioneering campaigns. He has been a part of agencies like JWT, Enterprise and Contract Advertising as regional creative director. He also has to his credit more than 300 accolades to his name from both national and international award shows, and has also served as jury member for many prestigious awards.
Iyengar, on the other hand, has been an integral part of the digital direct marketing industry for more than 17 years. He has also been conferred with the Hall of Fame by the DMAI for his outstanding and pioneering work in the Indian direct marketing industry since 1987. He was also chosen for his untiring efforts in the job of educating and training thousands of young direct marketers through teaching assignments spanning two decades.
Presented by the Advertising Club and AAAI, the Goafest Abbys 2016 will once again see the entire advertising and marketing fraternity come together in Goa from April 7 to 9 at The Grand Hyatt, Bambolim, North Goa.
