He will report to Rajiv Sabnis, executive director, DDB Mudra Group, and president, DDB Mudra West
The DDB Mudra Group has announced the appointment of Rahul Guha as president, TrackDDB. Guha will be based at the agency's Mumbai office, and will report to Rajiv Sabnis, executive director, DDB Mudra Group, and president, DDB Mudra West.
Commenting on Guha's appointment, Sabnis says, "We see immense potential for a data-driven agency in an increasingly digitally-driven world. Guha comes on board to lead our growth plans for the data-led digital marketing solutions offered by TrackDDB. His past experience in several large MNCs/national brands across sectors such as IT, banking, insurance, and retail are especially critical to our existing client partnerships. He has successfully led Wunderman International recently and iContract earlier, so we have strong reason to believe that he will take TrackDDB to a bigger and better place."
Talking about his new appointment, Guha adds, "I am really happy to join the Group and look forward to enrich the integrated service offering to our existing and new clients. Digital has turned mainstream, and it's a level-playing field for every organisation offering services in this domain. I hope our work will speak for itself."
Madhukar Kamath, group chief executive officer and managing director, DDB Mudra Group, adds, "The timing is perfect. Guha comes on board at just the right juncture. DDB Worldwide has embarked on an ambitious journey to make TrackDDB one of the most respected brands in its portfolio -- a specialist data-driven CRM agency for the digital future."
Guha has over 24 years of industry experience, and has worked across varied industries ranging from software consultancy, e-business consulting, and digital, to one-to-one marketing and advertising.
Prior to joining the DDB Mudra Group, he was with Wunderman International as its India head for over five years. Before joining Wunderman, he led interactive business across WPP, Interpublic, and the Havas Group of agencies.
In the past, Guha has been associated with brands such as Lacoste, Levi's, adidas Originals, Ford, Maruti Suzuki, HSBC, Bharti AXA, Tata AIG, Reckitt Benckiser, Cadbury, GSK Consumer Health, GSK Oral Care, BBC Worldwide, Shoppers' Stop, Microsoft, Nokia, DELL, Telstra, and Tata Communications.
