Razorfish has announced that Bharatesh Salian, vice president and head of strategy, will now oversee the agency's Mumbai and Bengaluru branches.

He will take over the operations with immediate effect from Manoj Mansukhani, senior vice president at Razorfish India, who has resigned to pursue opportunities outside the company.

Commenting on this change, Charulata Ravi Kumar, CEO, Razorfish India, says, "It has been less than two months that Bharatesh is working at Razorfish. However, his exemplary experience, meticulous planning and fine leadership abilities make him the perfect candidate for taking over our Mumbai and Bengaluru branches. I believe he will excel at the new role which he, in spirit, was already performing since day one."

Salian adds, "I am excited about this new role and leading the Mumbai and Bengaluru offices. It is truly motivating to be given such immense responsibility, and I am confident that I would be able to deliver to Razorfish's ambitious plans for India."

Salian comes with a rich experience of over 15 years in digital marketing and technology, and joined Razorfish from Viva Connect, where he was chief strategy officer working on clients such as BJP, GSK, Google and Tata Motors.

He has also worked on brands such as Unilever, J&J, Renault, Nissan and SET Max, during his stint with Omnicom Media Group as general manager - digital and mobility. It was here that he headed mobile strategy and project implementation for the Cannes Lion winner 'Kaan Khajura Tesan' campaign, 3 Roses Good Life Club and Be Beautiful.
