enormous brands, the marketing and brand solutions agency co-founded by Ashish Khazanchi, has brought on board Poonam Raichura and Nikhlesh Jhingan as senior planning director and general manager, client servicing, respectively. Both of them have previously worked with McCann in the capacity of senior strategy planner and group business director, respectively.
Raichura will handle the mandate for Shopclues, Meru and SBI General Insurance, while Jhingan, along with handling the company's key accounts (Meru, Shopclues), will also drive the business and creative products associated with the company in addition to spearheading growth for enormous.
Jhingan started his career in banking at Citibank, and then moved to RMG David where he worked for two years. In his career spanning 15 years, he has worked with agencies such as Mudra, Publicis and Dentsu. At Dentsu, Jhingan was responsible for creating the 'Sach Kar Denge Sapne' campaign for Honda's range of bikes.
Raichura comes on board with six years of industry experience, having started at Interface where she handled the Act II popcorn account, Raichura worked on Lakme and Park Avenue st Publicis Ambience. At McCann she worked on the Pears, Bombay Dyeing, L'Oreal and Parachute accounts. Jhingan has also worked on Nescafe, Perfetti , Hindware and PNB Metlife.
Talking about his move from McCann to enormous brands, Jhingan says, "Startups give you a chance to express yourself better. Moreover, I felt like going back to the grassroots and creating something new. Hence, I decided to join enormous."
