Intex, a diversified technology firm, has brought on board of Publicis Capital as its creative agency. The aim behind roping in Publicis Capital is to strengthen the company's position in the smartphone market. The mandate for the agency is to establish a better connect with the youth, in tune with Intex's philosophy - 'improving the quality of life'.
For Publicis, it will mark an entry into the country's mobile handsets market which is set to become the second largest smartphone market in the world by 2016. Also, a Cybex Exim Report from April 2015 claims that Intex's import shipments for smartphones were the highest among Indian handset manufacturers.
