Hamdard Laboratories, a Unani and Ayurvedic pharmaceutical company, has initiated a creative pitch in New Delhi.
The pitch is being held for all the brands of the company including RoohAfza, Safi, Sualin, Roghan Badam Shirin, Joshina, Cinkara and other brands from its traditional medicine portfolio.
At present, JWT Gurgaon and JWT Mindset handle the creative duties of Hamdard brands. As per a source close to the development, the company is reviewing presentations from several agencies, including current agencies on the Hamdard account.
Media duties of Hamdard brands are being handled by Initiative (a division of IPG Mediabrands India).
In March 2014, the company had announced that it had handed over the creative duties of its popular brand RoohAfza to JWT Mindset.
RoohAfza, introduced in 1907, has been a popular drink in the country for generations. RoohAfza is known to be an appropriate summer drink and a great additive for mocktails and desserts.
Hamdard Laboratories operates in the category of health and wellness, and was set up in 1906 in Delhi. It is one of the major players in the OTC healthcare sector with more than 600 OTC and ethical products, including popular household brands.
