Ekta Verma, who recently quit Dentsu, has joined Crayons Communication as Senior Creative Director. She will be heading the creative department along with Rondeep Gogoi.

Having spent 15 years in the industry, Ekta started her career with Lowe where she worked on brands like LG, Wills Lifestyle and Nestle. She then moved to Draft FCB Ulka and was associated with the firm for a decade. She worked on the launch of TATA DOCOMO, earning many accolades including the prestigious Effie Grand Prix.

Ekta has a flair for fashion and she played an integral role in re-launching and building ITC brand John Players and Miss Players. She also handled Whirlpool, Hero, Jeevansathi, makemytrip.com, Naukri.com and many others at FCB. Post this, she moved to Dentsu Marcom, where she led the team from both art and copy and handled the AkzoNobel brand, Dulux, Canon cameras and Honda City.

"I've enjoyed working on an exciting and varied bouquet of brands that enables me to accept the toughest of the challenges our business can offer. I have joined Crayons with the desire of seeing the agency producing memorable creative work that is loved by consumers and can help the brands grow," says Ekta on her future plans with Crayons.

Ranjan Bargotra, President, Crayons Group adds, "In Ekta we found the Creative Leadership qualities we have been looking for since Ashish Rehi left. I am delighted to welcome her on board."
