The International Advertising Association's (IAA) India Chapter has announced the nominees for the third edition of the IAA Leadership Awards.
The nominees represent the top-rung professionals whose outstanding marketing initiatives have had a significant positive impact on their respective businesses in various products and service categories.
The awards will be presented by the Honorable Minister of State for Finance Government of India, Jayant Sinha. It will be held on April 18 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
The IAA Leadership Awards is an initiative which honours and celebrates excellence in the fields of marketing, media and advertising. The winners will be selected by a jury comprising senior representatives of the fraternity.
The nominees have been announced for categories such as Marketer of the Year: Auto - Two Wheelers, Marketer of the Year: Auto - Passenger Vehicles, Marketer of the Year: Banking, Marketer of the Year: Cellular Phone Services, Marketer of the Year: Consumer Durables, Marketer of the Year: E-Commerce, Marketer of the Year: FMCG - Food, Marketer of the Year: FMCG - Beverage, Marketer of the Year: FMCG - Household Products, Marketer of the Year: FMCG - Personal Care, Marketer of the Year: Insurance and Marketer of the Year: Mobile Devices.
Speaking on the nominees, Srinivasan K Swamy, president of IAA's India Chapter, says, "Being nominated for the IAA Leadership Awards is, in itself, a signal of honour, because each of these individuals have been recognised as leaders who have made a mark in their respective categories in the last year.
