D&AD Awards 2015 has named Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director, South Asia, Ogilvy, jury foreman for the Press Advertising category.
Six other Indians have been selected as jurors. They include Meera Sharath Chandra, founder and chief creative officer at Tigress Tigress (Digital Advertising), Preeti Vyas, CEO, Vyas Giannetti Creative (Crafts for Advertising), Senthil Kumar, executive creative director at JWT Bengaluru (Film Advertising), Sonal Dabral, chief executive creative at DDB Mudra Group (Outdoor Advertising), and Ektaa Aggarwal, creative director at Landor Associates Mumbai (Branding).
Entries for the 53rd D&AD Professional Awards are being received at the moment. As per the eligibility criteria, the work being entered for the 2015 awards should be that which ran during January 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015.
A new category has been introduced - Branded Film Content & Entertainment. First appearing in 2011 as a sub-category, TV, film, online and documentaries will now be judged by a standalone jury, in addition to a new tactical sub-category.

For the record, D&AD stands for Design and Art Direction. The coveted D&AD Pencil is one of the toughest advertising awards to win. Last year, Indian agencies picked up 25 awards at D&AD.
