The agency has roped in Indranil Datta, Sandeep Juzam, Sandeep Banerjee and Anil Kapoor in different verticals of the organisation.
Melon Media, the media agency of Crayons Communications Group, has roped in Indranil Datta as the new chief operating officer. Datta is a veteran in the media industry and has spent over two decades with agencies like DDB Mudramax, Zenith Optimedia, Ogilvy and Lintas and has been part of media campaigns for Nokia, Hyundai and HUL, among others.
The agency has also roped in a new branch head at Delhi. Sandeep Banerjee has joined Crayons as vice president to head the operations in the Delhi branch. He moves from Hammer Communications, where he was vice president.
Banerjee has spent 20 years in account management in agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Law & Kenneth and McCann Healthcare where he was heading Delhi Branch as GM. He has worked on brands like Mother Dairy, Nestle, Sony Ericsson, Bata, Dabur Skincare, Nutrela, Videocon, MTS, Omron and Anmol Biscuits.
The digital arm of the agency, 'Ultraviolet' also has a new head at Mumbai. Sandeep Juzam has joined Ultraviolet as vice president to drive the online advertising of the group. Juzam was earlier based at Dubai and has worked with Web Percept, Draft FCB and Techshastra.
The agency has also roped in Anil Kapoor as the client servicing director. He was previously with Publicis and has worked with agencies such as DDB Mudra and Percept. In the last few months Crayons has picked up some big ticket clients like LIC, State Bank of India, Canara Bank and J& K Tourism and the agency is looking at taking a quantum leap in the current year.
