He was working as a senior creative director at McCann Mumbai.
Enormous brands has announced the appointment of O.R. Radhakrishnan as executive creative director. He will directly report to Ashish Khazanchi, managing partner. Prior to this, Radhakrishnan was associated with McCann Mumbai as senior creative director.
Speaking on the appointment, Khazanchi says, "Radhakrishnan brings multi-faceted skills to the table with a strong grip on the pulse of the market. His writing is modernist with a great understanding of communication mediums including films and radio. I believe his insight and creative force will take us to the next level."
Dubbing his new role as a 'challenge', Radhakrishnan states, "I've been wanting to work with Ashish for so long and this seemed like a right opportunity. Unlike a cushiony big agency space, this is a place where one needs to get their hands in the soil and get some of the most challenging jobs done."
In his 14-year-long career, Radhakrishnan has worked with blue chip agencies in Delhi, which include Madhyam (a part of Publicis), Grey, Capital, Lowe Lintas and Mudra. He then moved to Mumbai and joined Rediffusion. His last stint was with McCann Mumbai. He has worked on brands like DLF, Radio Mirchi, Tata Motors, ACC Cement, BILT Papers, Maruti, SimplyMarry.com and Reliance Life Insurance among others.
His work has been recognised both nationally and internationally. Some of the awards in his kitty include Young Guns (gold), Adfest (gold twice), Cannes (silver) and Clio. Launched in October last year, 'enormous brands' is co-founded by Khazanchi and Ajay Verma, erstwhile chief growth officer of Draftfcb Ulka. It is a part of the Concept Group and the group's chairman and managing director, Vivek Suchanti, is associated with it.
