DDB MudraMax has promoted Rohit Samarth as head, experiential. Samarth will report to Mandeep Malhotra, president, DDB MudraMax.
Samarth was appointed as senior vice-president, Terra, the rural marketing arm of the agency, in 2012. In his new role, he will be in charge of the agency's nationwide experiential campaigns.
With Terra, Samarth has led several rural marketing campaigns for ITC, Western Union, Axis Bank, Gulf Oil and others.
With over 25 years of experience, Samarth has worked with Percept Out-of-Home, Lintas, FICCI, UCP, India Infrastructure Publishing, Amar Ujala, Media Workshop India and Nestle.
Speaking on his appointment, Samarth says, "I have a vision and some strategic thoughts for my new role. Development of strong teams and setting new standards in the experiential business are high on the agenda. It is my sincere belief that DDB MudraMax's experiential division, which is already a great force to reckon with in the experiential business, will grow to be one of the most competent and respected experiential communication solutions agencies over the next two years."

Alvin D'souza, Subhashish Sarkar and Amit Singh have also been promoted to head the experiential divisions in the West, North and East, respectively. They will work under the guidance of Samarth.
