Ad Club has extended the deadline for entries from November 25 to December 2 following numerous requests from the industry.

The Advertising Club (earlier Ad Club Bombay) has extended the deadline for the entries of its creative Effie India Awards 2013.
"Towards the end of last week, the Ad Club received numerous requests to extend the Effie 2013 case submission deadline. Acceding to them, I am happy to share that the final deadline to enter your case is now Monday, December 2. Please ensure that your case studies are submitted at the Ad Club Secretariat on that date before 5.30 pm," says Ajay Kakar, chairperson, Effie 2013 Committee.
He adds, "Remember, Effies are the global benchmark in measuring and recognising marketing communications work. As 70 per cent of the jury in India comprises well-known and senior marketing professionals, and the rest coming from leading communications agencies, work that wins at the Effies also becomes a benchmark in their minds. It stands a good chance to become a part of marketing and conversations all over India, and increasingly outside too."
For the record, Effies 2013 has new categories this season, including Experiential Marketing and Effie for Good. Meanwhile, from Corporate Advertising, the sub category Social Cause is removed and the current nomenclature will be Corporate Advertising/Corporate Reputation.
Effie Awards 2013 will be held on January 15, 2014 at Royal Western Turf Club, Mumbai. It will take into account campaigns that ran in India from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.
