Sharma moves in from Contract Advertising, where he was VP, strategic planning.
DDB Mudra has appointed Arun Sharma as head of planning, DDB Mudra Delhi.
Sharma will work on the agency's client roster including Wrigley's, Bata, Carrier Midea, India Yamaha Motors and Dabur, and report to Aditya Kanthy, senior VP, DDB Mudra.
He moves in from Contract Advertising, where he was VP, strategic planning. He has worked on brands such as NIIT, Whirlpool, Bharti Delmonte, Shell Lubricants, Spice Jet Airlines, Set Wet Deos, Spice Mobiles & Telecom and Muthoot.
Talking about his new role, Sharma says, "DDB Mudra has a well known culture of planning and it's an opportunity for me to partner Vandana and Aditya in implementing the bold planning vision for the agency."

Sharma has over 14 years of experience, working across brands in automobiles, telecom, confectionery, education, home appliances and airlines categories.
Before joining Contract, he had also worked with agencies like Lowe, Saatchi & Saatchi and Rediffusion Y&R and has worked on brands such as Airtel, Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki.
