Vivek Rao joins Havas Worldwide as ECD

Rao will partner with Shavon Barua, president, West & South, Havas Worldwide.

Vivek Rao has joined Havas Worldwide as executive creative director.

He will operate from the Mumbai office of the agency and will partner with Shavon Barua, president, West & South, Havas Worldwide, in her creative duties.

Rao has 13 years of experience and has worked with Publicis Zen, McCann, Leo Burnett and Contract.

Rao says, "When Satbir outlined the roadmap for Havas, it clearly seemed like a great opportunity to be part of the reinventing process. I will try and apply all that I've learnt over the past so many years to propel Havas back to a place of a creative melting pot."

Rao's work has been recognised at several award functions such as ABBYs, Mirchi Kaan, Cannes, Clio and NY Fest.

Rao has worked on several accounts such as Pears, Vaseline, Band Aid, Babool, Strepsils, Clearasil, Savlon, Sunfil, Heinz, P&G's Tide, Reliance Communications, HDFC Standard Life, IOC, Asian Paints Royale, HSBC Mutual Funds, Tide, Pears, Reliance Communications, Citibank, Vicks, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Babool, Strepsils and Henko Detergent, among others.
