DDB Mudra and Wah Wah Music from India made it to the awards list of the Clio Awards 2013, which recently announced winners in nine out of the total 19 categories. Each category has sub categories under which the entries are screened and nominated for the awards.
DDB Mudra bagged bronze for Volkswagen Attention Assist System's ad titled 'Art Direction Board' under the Illustration - Print Technique category. The ad was worked on by the agency's Delhi team.
Wah Wah Music received silver for Music-Original in Film Technique category for Nike's 'Parallel Journeys' commercial. The Mumbai-based company, which is owned by music composer and co-founder of Blue Frog Dhruv Ghanekar, is only a year old. The commercial is conceptualised and created by JWT Bangalore and produced by Ramesh Deo Productions.
This year, Clio Awards also had four jury members from India, namely Josy Paul, chairman and chief creative officer, BBDO India; Agnello Dias, co-founder and chief creative officer, Taproot India; E Suresh, director, Studio Eeksaurus Production; and Prasoon Pandey, director, Corcoise Films.
The annual awards honour excellence in advertising, design and communication spanning over various media.
