Mohit Hira replaces Max Hegerman as digital head of JWT India

Hira has a career spanning 26 years across advertising, marketing, print and digital media. Prior to JWT, he worked with NIIT, Times Internet etc.

JWT India has elevated Mohit Hira as the head of its digital operations. Hira will replace Max Hegerman, digital head at JWT India, who, according to the company, is moving on to pursue other opportunities. Hegerman joined JWT India as senior vice president and digital head in September 2011.

In his new role, Hira will be responsible for managing and growing JWT's digital offering to clients across all markets in addition to his current responsibilities on Airtel. Mohit Hira joined JWT in November 2012 as senior vice president and regional business leader, Airtel at JWT.

As the new head of JWT Digital, he brings in long-term brand-building with rich digital experience. This, along with the ability to tap a rich eco-system of partners, like Hungama Digital Services and JWT Digital.

In 2012, JWT Singapore had acquired a majority stake in Mumbai-based Hungama Digital Services, the digital and promotions marketing division of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment.

Hira has a career spanning 26 years across advertising, marketing, print and digital media. Prior to JWT, he worked with NIIT, where he was the president of the B2C global online learning business, Training.com that he started. He was also the chief marketing officer for their retail individual training businesses and the NIIT University.

Previously, Mohit Hira had worked with The Times of India Group as the director of Times Internet Ltd, where he was the brand custodian for the group's website, Indiatimes.com and was responsible for incubation, marketing and usability of its portals.
