Singh, who headed the creative function in North and East zones, joined the agency last year.
Amardeep Singh, chief creative officer, Law & Kenneth, put in his papers earlier this month. Singh was leading the creative functions of North and East regions and had joined the agency in August, 2012. Based in Delhi, Singh reported to Charles Victor, national creative director, Law & Kenneth.
Singh confirms the news to afaqs! but declines to talk about his plans.
This was Singh's second stint with the agency; he had also joined the agency in 2011. He began his career with DDB Mudra, Delhi, in 1991. He has worked with agencies such as Trikaya Grey, McCann Erickson, Contract, Dentsu Communications and M&C Saatchi. He also tried his hand at entrepreneurship by co-founding Hammer Communications in 2011. However, he resigned from the venture in April, 2012.
With an experience spanning 22 years, Singh has worked on varied brands including Jet Airways, Domino's, Coke, Perfetti, Yamaha, Hindustan Motors, Suzuki, Seagram's, Radico Khaitan, Bacardi, Nestle, SmithKline, Dabur, JK Tyres, Grasim, Royal Bank of Scotia, ABN Amro Bank, PVR Cinemas, Oberoi Hotels, Bausch & Lomb and Unitech, among others.
Interestingly, Singh wrote the Domino's jingle, 'Ta nanananaree, O pizza aye free', and conceptualised the brand's TVCs featuring Paresh Rawal. The campaign won him Effie silver and Campaign of the Year by Delhi Ad Club. For the GPI Bravery (Train TVC), Singh bagged an Abby award.
