Ten Indians have made it to the jury panel of the 11th edition of Asian Marketing Effectiveness (AME) award 2013 to be held on May 8-9 at Shanghai, China. The total jury panel comprises 50 members, who will select the best campaigns from two categories - Product & Service and Specialist.
While Ajay Kaul, executive director, global brand communications worldwide, Lenovo, has been appointed as the jury president, the others include Anindya Banerjee, brand manager and executive creative director, Scarecrow Asia, India; Anuradha Agarwal, senior vice-president, brand communication and consumer insight, Vodafone; Ravi Rao, leader, Mindshare South Asia; Nirvik Singh, chairman and CEO, Grey Group, Asia Pacific; Vijay Sinha, regional category vice-president, Unilever; and Saurabh Varma, chief strategic officer, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific.
Lakish Hatalkar, vice-president marketing, West Asia, Africa, East Europe and Asia Pacific, Novartis Consumer Health and Rupen Desai, regional president, Lowe+Partners, Asia Pacific - both Singapore-based, and Malaysia-based Rahul Colaco, managing director, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad, are also part of the jury panel.
The AME Awards recognise marketing strategies that are both creative and successful. The two-day festival is a collaboration between Lions Festivals and Haymarket and witnesses participation from marketing, advertising and media industry executives.
