Vedobroto Roy and Deepak Singh have been appointed as ECDs at the company's Mumbai office. They will report to Soumitra Karnik, national creative director, Dentsu India Group.

Dentsu Communications has roped in Vedobroto Roy
and Deepak Singh
as executive creative directors. They will report to Soumitra Karnik, national creative director, Dentsu India Group and will be based in Mumbai.
Both Roy and Singh come with a decade of experience. Before joining Dentsu Communications, Roy was working with Leo Burnett, Dhaka while Singh was associated with DDB Mudra, Mumbai.
They will partner on several Dentsu accounts such as Orangina and Runwal.
Singh started his career in 2002 with Oberoi Mutimedia and got his first break in advertising in 2006 at Grey Worldwide. Vikram Gaekwad, the then creative director at Grey Worldwide, appointed him. Subsequently, Singh moved to Leo Burnett and then to DDB Mudra, where he served more than three-and-a-half years before joining Dentsu.
Roy began his career in 2000 with Ogilvy Mumbai and later shifted to JWT in 2003. He then started his own venture in 2006 with two other partners but quickly moved to Cheil in 2007. After a four-year stint, he shifted to a small time agency in Kolkata in 2011. He joined Leo Burnett, Dhaka in 2012.
