Hasan and his partner Anirudh Chohan have joined hands to launch 'Unsung Ones' to create poetry laced with acoustic guitar and harmonica.

Meraj Hasan, vice-president, strategic planning, Everest Brand Solutions has put in his papers at the agency. He had joined the agency from Lowe Lintas & Partners in August, 2011. His next destination is unknown.
Confirming the news to afaqs!, Hasan says that for the time being, he will focus on his interest in music and poetry. Apparently, he has signed a contract with a music company and is working out some material for it.
Hasan and his partner Anirudh Chohan, an engineering graduate, have joined hands to launch 'Unsung Ones' to create poetry laced with acoustic guitar and harmonica.
Hasan has more than 12 years of experience across India and Sri Lanka. Before Everest Brand Solutions, he was with Lowe Lintas, Mumbai, where he led planning for the oral care business of Hindustan Unilever (Pepsodent and Close Up), for India and Southeast Asia.
Before Lowe, he was strategic planning head at Rediffusion-Y&R. He was also actively involved in the launch of Bharti Airtel's telecom operations in Sri Lanka.
In his other assignments, he has worked on brands such as Colgate-Palmolive, Tata Sky, Tata Motors, Standard Chartered Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra. He is an alumnus of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), and has interests in poetry, music and photography.
