Tim Love to retire from Omnicom

He is to retire at the end of the first quarter of 2013.

The Omnicom Group has announced that Tim Love, vice-chairman and chief executive officer, Omnicom, APIMA (Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa) is slated for retirement from the agency.

He is to retire from the group at the end of the first quarter of 2013.

Love has spent four decades in the advertising and branding industry and has, along the way, held senior client relationship positions in the US and in other regions. He has also worked with many of the Fortune 100 companies.

Before Love stepped into the role of vice-chairman at Omnicom in 2006, he held the position of president, global clients, at TBWA Worldwide, an Omnicom agency network.

Wishing him well, John Wren, president and chief executive officer, Omnicom, conveys in an official communiqué, "Tim has been an important part of our executive team, leading the current phase of our Asia Pacific expansion efforts. Tim leaves the region in excellent health."
