This year, two new teams, Veer Marathi and Bhojpuri Dabanggs, will also participate in the league, which has been a huge hit, especially among females.
Push Integrated Communications has bagged the creative mandate for Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) for 2013. The agency will also look after the execution of the campaign across different media platforms.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri, founder and managing director, Celebrity Cricket League, says, "Push Integrated has brought alive the blockbuster appeal of the competition."
The Twenty20 tournament, which is into its third season in 2013, will take place from February 19 to March 10 and involve superstars from the film fraternity such as Mohan Lal, Sunil Shetty, Venkatesh, Vishal, Sudeep, Jeet, Ritesh Deshmukh and Manoj Tiwari. Teams from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and West Bengal will also participate in the tournament.
CCL Season 3 will see two new teams, one each from the Marathi and Bhojpuri film industries. In its later edition, teams from the Punjabi and Gujarati film industries will also participate.

The CCL Season 3 curtain raiser will be telecast on eight channels of the STAR network.
The eight participating teams this year are Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos, Karnataka Bulldozers, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Veer Marathi. The participating teams have roped in female actors as brand ambassadors.
The venues for forthcoming CCL3 matches are Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Kanpur, Chennai, Kochi, Sharjah and Hyderabad.
