Quadrant Communications has won the creative duties of Pune-based Quick Heal Technologies. The agency won the business on the back of a closely fought pitch which went on for almost two months and witnessed participation from as many as 25 agencies.
The size of the business is said to be in the range of Rs 10-12 crore.
Industry sources close to the development has confirmed the news to afaqs! on ground of anonymity. It has been learnt that of the 25 agencies which had participated, five agencies were shortlisted and in the final round, the face off was between Lintas and Quadrant.
This is the first time in the last 19 years that the company has appointed a creative agency. Before this, an in-house team managed the creatives. The company had begun the hunt for a creative partner along with a public relations agency, a media and a digital agency, earlier this year. While Adfactors PR will henceforth manage the public relation for the brand, the decision on the media and digital partners is still pending.
For the record, headquartered in Pune, Quick Heal Technologies was founded in 1993. The company mainly manufactures anti-virus software. Currently, it claims to employ more than 450 people in 22 branches across India. It also operates through a network of dealers and channel partners in more than 50 countries worldwide.
