Grey wins Web18's In.com business

Metal Communications is the incumbent creative agency on the account.

Grey has won the creative mandate for horizontal website In.com, a part of Web18. The agency's Mumbai branch will handle this account.

The win is the result of a multi-agency pitch that was held in Mumbai recently. It may be recalled that afaqs! had reported that the portal was on the lookout for an agency, a couple of months ago.

While the agency neither confirms nor denies the news, highly placed sources have confirmed the news to afaqs!.

Metal Communications is the incumbent creative agency on this account. A unique live online radio initiative was launched by the agency for In.com in July, 2011. Called Artiste Radio, the 24X7 live radio offering had dedicated channels across various genres.

In.com belongs to Web18, which is the digital arm of the Network18 group.

Web18 has other online properties such as its news-based websites IBNlive.com and Firstpost.com, finance-led website Moneycontrol.com, cricket-driven website CricketNext.com and its social media platform, Blaze, available at IBNLive.in.com/Blaze, amongst other digital offerings.

Last month, Grey won the creative duties of the low-cost airline, SpiceJet. Earlier this year, it won the mandate for Honda Motorcycles' scooter Dio and i1 Superseries, the motorsport racing league pioneered by Machdar Motorsports.

Meanwhile, Web18's mother brand Network18 is currently scouting for a creative agency for its upcoming corporate campaign.
