Yang Communications has won the creative duties of Vimal Pan Masala. The size of the business is said to be about Rs 10 crore. Prior to Yang, Vimal Pan Masala was handled by Mudra.
Sanjay Sharma and Anil Verma, managing partners at Yang, say, "Vimal, as a brand, has been very aggressive and creative in its communication for the last few years. We aim to take this legacy forward."
Recently, the agency won two new businesses, including the account of Orris Infrastructure. The agency won the business following a multi-agency pitch that saw participation from three other agencies including Law & Kenneth. During the last week of 2011, it won the creative duties of the life insurance brand DLF Pramerica, a joint venture between DLF and Prudential International Insurance Holdings (PIIH), a fully-owned subsidiary of Prudential Financial Inc.
The agency also looks to expand its base in New Delhi with more recruitment, after a slew of wins.
For the record, Vimal Pan Masala is a brand promoted by Lalwani Industries.
